Claude Cowork can do more than answer a question: it can work through a multi-step task using files, tools and applications that are available to it. This beginner course shows you how to practise with one small, reversible and non-confidential task while keeping control of every important decision.

What you will be able to do

By the end of this course, you will be able to prepare a safe practice folder, describe a clear outcome, review Cowork’s proposed plan, inspect its work and decide whether to approve, revise or stop the task.

The working pattern

Prepare a safe workspace → describe the outcome → inspect the plan → review the work → keep or undo.

Estimated time: 45–60 minutes. You can stop after any lesson and return later.

Important boundaries

• Use only synthetic, public or clearly non-confidential practice material.
• Do not use patient charts, photographs, recordings, referrals, test results or other health information.
• Do not use real client, employee, billing, insurance, credential or payment information.
• Use copies and keep originals outside Cowork’s working folder.
• Review every plan and result. A polished answer can still be wrong.
